2 pears (choose from Corella, Red Sensation, Packhams, Beurré Bosc or Winter Nellis)
Juice of 1 orange and zest of ½ orange (zest the orange first then cut it in half and juice it)
¼ cup honey
1 tbsp brown sugar


METHOD
  1. Preheat oven.

  2. Peel the pears but leave the stems intact, then cut the base off (very minimally) to enable them to stand upright.

  3. Mix together the orange juice, honey, zest, and brown sugar.

  4. Place the pears in a baking dish and drizzle with the honey syrup.

  5. Bake until golden (about 20-25 minutes) and serve with dollops of double cream.
